With the current real estate market..... is it time to buy or sell? What advice would I give to home buyers and home sellers? Is this a time to buy, sell, or hold?
Right now we are in a Buyer's Market for the first time in five or six years. The last four to five years its absolutely been a sellers market. Market conditions are clearly favoring buyers. It is a good time to buy, in part because homebuyers are not pressured to make quick decisions. We are in a window of low interest rates with a plentiful supply of homes on the market. Buyers also now have more power to negotiate with sellers for help on downpayment or closing costs. Buyers have the opportunity to see more inventory and not have to worry too much about having a home sold out from under them, although if they see the right home that they want, they still need to make a decision. Sellers need to be very, very careful in pricing their home. Make sure they get with a reputable full service real estate company and a Professional Realtor® and get that home priced correctly because theres a lot more inventory competition on the market.
So would I recomend to buy now?If I found a good home in a good neighborhood for a good price, you betcha.
